Here’s what Peter says about learning to play the piano or keyboard:

You will embark on a wonderful adventure in music, discovering an unbelievably diverse world of sound. The piano (and I include the modern electronic keyboard) is an astonishingly versatile instrument. Some have described it as an ‘orchestra for your fingers’.

My first piano teacher once said to me “if you can play the piano you’ll never be without a friend.” What wise words those were! Not only the friends you make through your music, but the piano itself is a friend. It has certainly been a constant companion for me, through good times and not-so-good times – my piano is loyal and always there for me.

I can help you make the piano YOUR friend as well.

Sure, there is a bit of work involved (especially in the early stages). There are skills to learn, practice to be done and knowledge to gain. It’s not a “five-minute” process. But I can assure you the effort is worth it, and it’s not as difficult as you might think!

Many of my students say things like:

“I didn’t realise that piece was so easy till I tried it” – and they just love playing the piano!

As a professionally qualified musician Peter knows all too well that we all lead busy lives and it’s not easy fitting in time for piano.

Project Piano can help, with a range of options including distance learning by Skype!

Do you have an electronic keyboard instead of a piano?

No worries! Project Piano is flexible enough to accommodate your needs too!!
