About Project Piano

Project Piano is an initiative run by piano teacher Dr Peter Auker, who believes music-making should be enjoyable and fun, whilst always striving to be the best piano player you can be (in whatever style of playing suits you best).

Project Piano aims to be as accommodating to your needs as possible.

In addition, a range of extra services are available, including theory of music, composition, and musical proof-reading.

Peter has over 30 years experience as a piano teacher, is an experienced examiner for Trinity College London, and is a member of the Independent Society of Musicians (Registered Private Teacher). He has a PhD in music from the University of Nottingham, a Masters degree in music from the University of Sheffield, plus diplomas from Trinity College of Music (FTCL) and the London College of Music (GLCM and ALCM).

Peter regularly performs as a pianist in concerts and musical theatre, and also as an accompanist for rehearsals, workshops and exams.
